The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons TAS in 1:25:57.22 by Swordless Link & Tompa [HD]

***READ BEFORE WATCHING*** This tool-assisted speedrun by Swordless Link (me) & Tompa aims to beat The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons in as little a time as possible. It was made on an emulator, using frame-by-frame shooting, savestates, and rerecords to overcome things like reaction time and human error. As such, it is purely a form of entertainment, and is not designed to show skill. This is Tompa’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com Be sure to subscribe to it if you enjoyed this run. BrandonE from TASVideos was nice enough to encode this run for us. Be sure to check out and subscribe to his channel: www.youtube.com This TAS is the result of years of hard work on the game. The game is not as simple as it may appear. Enemies are extremely tedious to manipulate without costing time, and there has to consistently be enough pegasus seed drops to be able to run around optimally. This run was made by me and Tompa. It should not be uploaded without first getting permission from us. Any anti-TAS comments will be deleted. Seriously, if you’re just going to call it “cheating” or something equally ridiculous, don’t even bother commenting at all, because I’ll just block you. Save us both a bit of time. The actual publication of the movie can be found here: will link to this when it’s published Check out TASVideos.org to find out more about tool-assisted speedruns, and to watch the many already-existing awesome TASes.

I know that grabbing heart containers from bosses takes up a few seconds, but wouldnt it be worth it later on when getting hit by monsters to get a little push to increase your speed?

I fucking love you. Really, since many eclipses ago I’ve totally enjoyed watching your TAS videos and this is hands down one of my favorites. Kudos.

To get Moosh you have to buy the flute in the village. Doing that would be a huge waste of time, also for the fact that Moosh isn’t faster than Ricky.
Dimitri would be the fastest one to use. However, you would have to win the flute in the Subrosian Dance. Which means you have to dance twice as the boomerang is always first.
Sticking with Ricky is then a lot faster than the other two options.

Why use Ricky? I think that Moosh is better…

Walking on sunshine is too mainstream. Link walks on air.

24:00 Let’s go on a date. On one condition… You borrow me your key to every door in the city and I’ll ditch you later to go to another realm :D

I love how he just walks across these huge gaps at points. TAS videos are the sickest things.

I really liked both of these games, so much fun packed into a GBC, I thought that was not possible! but it was!

Yay that would be great. But will they beat Oracle Of Time from the beginning or use the Code given at the end of Oracle Of Seasons and get the alternate ending?
