   Above mentioned website is really good to show how to put codes for any thing.in addition to that I would recommend to order these books from amazon or half.com “complete reference to HTML” &”complete HTML” & “complete CSS” & “complete reference of CSS”or buy it from a book store.It’ll give you a pretty good idea about it & also gives you the information that you wouldn’t find on w3school.also watch some videos about making tables & designing them & css coding on youtube.in order to understand CSS you need the above books that has a lot of things but make sure you understand the concept of these codings because CSS is pretty wide so is HTML but CSS needs more focus & attention.

   I suggest you tell your teacher that you shouldn’t use tables for layout in HTML.
